HEAD CHEF

HOW'D YOU GET INTO COOKING FOR THE BEER WORLD?

I used to help my aunt and uncle with their homebrews, long before I was legally able to drink them. I got to learn from them early on that beer can be a lot more diverse and complex than the ubiquitous light beers of my early college days. And once I started cooking at a higher level and saw how beer can be utilized in that regard, I never looked back.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO IN YOUR OFF TIME?

Anything outdoors. My wife and I love getting out to hike, camp, and ski. And if I’m not playing outside, I’m usually at home with a guitar or filing through our record collection.

FAVORITE BEER STYLE TO DRINK:

Pilsners. Real ones, not mass produced American ones.

FAVORITE BAND:

The Rolling Stones.

FAVORITE CANDY OR SNACK:

Bacon.
